Industrial Organizational Psychology Campaign

MAKING THE WORKPLACE HUMAN

The purpose of this campaign was to make students on campus aware of a new emphasis offered in the Psychology Department. The concept needed to marry the idea of business with psychology while appealing to several different students, such as communication and business students. This posed an interesting challenge and I explored many concepts before I came across this particular solution.

The main concept that the client wanted to get across was the human aspect of Industrial Organizational Psycology. To show this, all elements of the design were made by hand and then scanned into the computer. The type was traced with a lightbox and markers, while the visual icon of the two heads was created using a xerox transfer technique.

Campaign materials included 11x17 posters, kiosks, t-shirts and two different web ads on the BYU-Idaho website.
